Curriculum Vitae
Short Biography
I am a Professor of Law and the Bouma Faculty Fellow in Law at the University of Iowa College of Law. I study antitrust law, evidence law, and various subjects in the umbrella of law and economics. These are also subjects that I regularly teach, along with contract law. I hold advanced degrees in law, economics, and statistics. Prior to joining the faculty at the University of Iowa, I served as an antitrust attorney at the Federal Trade Commission in Washington, DC, where my practice focused on the review and litigation of mergers in technology and commodity-chemical spaces.

Personal Details
I enjoy working with computers. (A modest way of saying that my homelab competes with the HVAC system on my monthly electric bills). When not writing or teaching, I work on my server rack and maintain web apps for sharing research with the world.
I have a rough collie named Packet. He is smart but lazy. He has saved zero children from having fallen down wells.
